Nostalgia Train, Sovata:
The train called 'Mocanica' makes the route between Sovata and Vármezõ three times a day.
The small train driven by a coal-powered locomotive on this section of the route, as it is whirling and whistling along of the countryside, is a real tourist attraction for the pleasure of all people.
On the train the guide gives you a ticket and warns you of approaching or leaving the railway stations. The passengers have an open and a closed wagon with wooden seats.
At the terminal the locomotive is unplugged from the front and reconnected to the rear of the train; it is ready to go back on its way!
Adrenalin Adventure Park, Sovata:
The adventure park was built in Sovata in 2012 in a picturesque setting beside Lake Tivoli. It is waiting for those who wants to spend their free time in a natural environment.
The Adrenalin Adventure Park started with 2 children and 2 adult zip line cables witch consisting of a total of 42 items, including a nearly 400 meters of Tyrolean zip line cables where can be experienced a glide over the lake. It is offers an exciting fun for children as well as for adults.
Belvedere Tower, Sovata:
The gazebo was opened in 2016 to admire the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
The facility can be visited between 13:00 and 20:00. The Tower is 28 meters high, three-storey terrace structured with a maximum 26 meters viewpoint.
It is located near the town, easy reach with short walk from Gera creek via Fülemüle street towards to Rigo Lake.
The Salt’s Way Nature trail:
Through the nature trail with resting places, viewpoints and information boards the salty lakes (Bear Lake, Mogyórosi Lake, Rigó-, Green and the Red Lakes) and the freshwater lakes (Piroska and Kígyós Lakes) in the Sóspatak Valley and the conservation of the beech-oak forests formed on the salt rocks can be viewed by those who interested.
The well-built nearly 1 km long route which is a real relaxation in a pleasant environment starts from the west part of the Bear Lake at 514 m above see level and reach 525 m.
